first, rule out it's not because of battery...

if you have another key working, you can get a duplicate key for $120 ($60 to cut and $60 to program) from dealer. i called around for my keys, locksmiths asked for $250 or so. if you lost both keys that came with your car, dealer can make a new set of keys; i am not sure how much it would be.

in my case, i had a good key. i just needed a back-up key. what i ended up with was - ordered a door-only key for $5 from dealer. it can open/close the door but can not start engine.
