门和后箱的vacuum 与 engine和trans不是一个pump

i don't have a gas engine car for that your, mine are all diesels.  i know my engine bay has a main pump driven by crank shaft, while door and trunk vacuum is provided by an electric pump in the side wall of the pit holding spare tire.
