Q5 is not reliable

Q5 is pretty inside out. But I think the TFSI engine is problematic and the electronics in Audi always break down very early on. My friend also had a major transmission problem with his 2011 Q5. The repair was covered under warranty but it can come back again.


Have you looked at BMW X3 and MB GLK350? Their interior is not as nice (GLK interior is a disgrace), but at least the BMW X3 is marginally more reliable. 

The other one in this class is Infiniti. I really like their styling and they are more reliable than German cars. It kills me as I do not buy Japanese cars out of principle.
