别以为欧美市场就没空子可钻。就看你知不知道了。比如说--刹车优先。

就说说美国市场的日本车。比如最流行的CIVIC，COROLLA

在ABS没有成为mandatory时，日本车基本型是不装的。想要？加钱升级。
在ABS成为mandatory后，日本车基本型也只有ABS。想要EBD, TCS, SCS？加钱升级。

直到近几年才好一些。

再看看竞争车型JETTA。
在ABS没有成为mandatory前，基本型就有。
在ABS成为mandatory后，EBD, TCS, SCS 白送。都是标配。

如果你有兴趣，还可以比较一下侧气囊成为标配的时间。（正气囊很早就是mandartory的了)

这就是为什么我说 “能省就省”。只有到了不能省了，他才给你装！

另外，DOT标准是minimum requirements! 在美国销售的所有车都达到了，但不意味着所有车的安全性都一样。
