can go to Autozone to grab a repair manual written by Haynes or others that include 2001 Civic, ~$10, cheaper than the one by Honda (~$50 plus?). I did timing belt change for a Mazda with a manual by Haynes; the illustration is quite clear to me.

You need be careful though, Honda plastic parts are fragile. Don't break the door handle etc.
