1. Craigslist.

2. Leave phone gets response faster.  But does not matter.  Post your ad multiple times a day.

3. Serious buyers will not go after the VIN first.  They will look first.  Carfax can check VIN for fee. Even carfax record does not show everything.  If you did not repair the body, the dent adn scratch will not show on report.

4. Depends.  If in your states you need to register and get new license plates, then return your license plates after the sale will remove your liability (remember to get a receipt from DMV); if you just need to register but keep the old plates, then drop a Bill of Sales (your title will have a Bill of Sales) to DMV right way.

5. No liability.  Sold as is.

6. cash only.

7. If a buyer likes your car, they will make a resasonable offer.  Otherwise, find another buyer.

You have too many worries.  Relax, it is just a car you want to get rid of.
