Cost for replacing Toyota Rav4 torque converter

Thanks for all the opinions about my toyota RAV4 transmission problem at low speed. I'd like to try to replace torque converter to see if the transmission problem can be solved. How much is the typical cost?

When replacing the converter, I wonder if the transmission fluid has to be drainded and replaced. Thanks for your help.
