I will check battery connector first

especially three connections from the negative pole: one to frame, one to engine block, and one to chassis.  Then check the fuse and relay.

Typically, when starter dies, it will die when engine is hot first.  If you never had hot cranking problem, it is unlikely to be the starter.

Also, it could be security system lock up when battery died.  If so, I doubt anyone here can help.

Good luck, relax, and happy new year anyhow.
