冤枉拿一罚单

今天傍晚下班路上打了转右LINE信号后转到右LINE。 后面有一警车要我停下开了一张罚单说我差点HIT他。 我反复看这罚单没有数额但有要求上法庭。 有人知道是怎么回事吗。 沮丧要命。我应该怎么办？是否还有信件寄来。谢谢。BTW，事件发生在南加。
