 EVAP Emission Control System Leak Detected (Fuel Tank System)

 

1. Check out GAS TANK CAP first. Maybe it is broken or it is not reseated properly since you filled up gas last time.

2. If you know EVAP system, trace down all pipe connections, pay more attention at area around SURGE SWITCH. Reseate all connections.

I just fixed this issue for my neibor"s BUICK CENTERY a couple of days ago.

I donot think this issue is related with engine noise.
