1. Sits high, sees far; very important when driving long distance.

2. 17/21 mpg, 320HP. You need the 4X4, it may snow any time from now on. You can choose 4X4 or 4X2, if you have not sit in a Tahoe for long drive, you got to try it. It is much comfortable than a mini van.

3. 60.3 cu. ft. w/ 3rd row folded, the third row can be separated into two seats and are removable. Even for 6 American size people,it's big enough. You need to choose the bench seat 2nd row, and remove one of the 3rd seat, that leaves you enough cargo room. 

4. The rental cost may be more than a mini van, but you will enjoy the trip.
