the stopping distance is 9.16m (=(13.4^2)/(2*9.81)). Accord is not a performance car with performance brakes and summer tires. It's almost impossible for it to achieve an average deceleration of 1g between 30mph and 0mph. I'd say 10m is a very reasonable stopping distance -- probably with ABS fully active (if you have it). Your brake don't have a problem, at least at 30mph.
