Don't leave any holes in your statement

"我不确定是否走错，我下意识地减速了一下" is a terrible
statement. On the other hand, "see brake light flash in
front of you (doesn't mean the car right in front of yours)
so you mover your foot to the brake for an instant would shine a much better light for your case. I am sure one of the car in front of you did flash the brake light.
