请教各位高人，output shaft seal 是个啥东西，如果漏了很危险么？

前两天去给俺的jimmy换油，换油的同志告诉俺driver side output shaft seal leaking。请教各位高人，output shaft seal 是个啥东西呀？俺这个星期4要开长途，来回2千公里，这玩意不修理好了，是不是有可能直接开去追悼会了？
