It's mounted to the oil pump housing with the CKP sensor. you should check the wires to the sensor down on the oil pump housing. make sure they are connected and not shorting out. Or that they are even connected at all. some years they put the sensor in the distributor.There almost has to be a broken wire coming from the TDC sensor.Try checking for continuity between the TDC sensor wire at the distributor and the TDC sensor wire at the ECU. one of the tabs for the tdc sensor was bent. bent it back to shape and fixed
