Saw this report in Yahoo News
What surprised me is the positive reaction and comment of American. Here are few latest consecutive comments at the time of my viewing.

I am not bias toward us or asian cars.

I love that Toyota staff do not get bonuses and will have reduced salaries and that they will continue without. That is a major hit on their salaries, like 50% of their salary is probably paid in bonuses. I would like to see US automakers and bankers take that sort of a disciplined approach to apologize for screwing up the economy.

WAY TO GO TOYOTA........I WISH YOU ALL THE SUCCESS !! I WILL NEVER BUY AMERICAN AGAIN. OUR GOV'T DID MORE DAMAGE IN THIER ATTEMPT TO RUIN TOYOTA THAN GOOD. IT WAS A PITIFUL DISPLAY OF AN ATTEMPT TO GET PEOPLE TO BUY AMERICAN AND IT IS STARTING TO BACKFIRE.
I FEEL FOR ALL THE CITIZENS WHOM FELL FOR THIS EFFORT. NOW THEY ARE STUCK W/ AN INFERIOR PRODUCT. WAIT TILL IT'S TRADE-IN TIME AND THE RESALE VALUE'S OF THIER FORD'S AND CHEVY'S ARE NOTHING. SURE, THEY WERE GIVEN GREAT INTREST RATES AND OTHER INCENTIVES BUT THE LOWER RESALE AND OR MARKET VALUE WILL SURELY OFFSET THOSE SEEMINGLY GOOD INCENTIVES.....GO TOYOTA!!

For those of you that keep saying this is a government conspiracy have to remember what organization you're talking about. The government can't even decide which way to spool toilet paper rolls without spending a half billion dollars and taking ten times longer than it should.

Toyota lied and covered up well-known safety problems while people died and they had to face the music. If you want to sell your cars in the US, you have to play by the rules. If you don't want to do that, you can get out.

The government and union tried hard to make Toyota submit, I'm glad they failed.
American workers at Toyota in the American plants can continue to work and not payd ues for nothing.
