小毛病，大隐患，焉能不顾？

我那Grand Marquis 老是老点儿，可一上高速就遛达得欢畅。不过前些天偶尔发点儿小脾气。车在60迈左右换入overdrive不顺，感觉车一顿，然后哐当一下往前飙，好像屁股给踢了一脚。在挨踢了几脚后发现档位挂在D和2 之间。车在其他换档速度时都很平顺。于是得出结论与Tranny以及ATF都无关，只是挂档打滑。
这车的shift lever 在方向盘下，如下图。

每次换档挂档时，都要来回几下才能确定挂在所需要的档上。有那么几次没挂好，比如，该挂P档，结果实际在R档上，一松脚车就后跑。毛病是不大，挂对了档也跑得欢，但这种有可能所挂非档是在是大隐患。万一挂错了前后有人咋办？
之所以说是小毛病，是因为这毛病小到连修车的书上都没有。TSB也从不提。唉，只好Google了。一查，发现还是该车的高发病。好吧，知道怎么回事儿就好办。
首先，把表盘底下的kick plate 拆了。于是表盘下什么东西都露出来了。注意下图中闸踏板右边的那根轴。那是转向轴。顺着轴沿红箭头往上看。需要打着灯看。

在转向轴尽头，可以看到两个螺丝。如下图红箭头所指。这两个螺丝松了，所以挂档skip。拿hex wrench把两个螺丝上紧，问题就解决了。
