2010 Honda Pilot LX 4x4 USD 26500

Just got a quote for 2010 Honda Pilot LX 4x4 for $26500 + tax + license etc. How do you guys think about this price? Is that a fair one?

Weird thing though, I checked with both local Honda dealers and none of them said there is any cash rebate. Only after did I send carsdirect.com link that shows "special pricing" for Honda their Internet sales manager said they would try to match that carsdirect.com quote price, which is around 26600 something.

Just don't understand why Honda dealers refused to confirm there is ongoing cash rebate. They were not afraid that high price would scare away people? Or they just simply wanted to make use of those shoppers who did not check online quote?
