How to sabotage Toyota -- A FICTION!

I have too much time on my hand today. So let the imagination fly.
Assume someone would like to stop Toyota's momentum to world dominance.
What would they do? They would make a random selections of Toyota's having
braking problems. There would be no better way to creating fear in
Toyota drivers than that. Of course, sabotage are not reproducible.
How can one prove a negative? Furthermore the cure Toyota offered might
cause more problems.
