The author has no knowledge about this industry. It is irresponsible to write something like this when the general public is in a panic mood. Please do your research before speculating.

Toyota is no where near being the first ones to implement "drive by wire", and it is not the only one has the "sudden unintended acceleration" problem. Other makes and models have similar issues but just not as publicized as this.

Everyone is using "drive by wire" now, do we stop driving them all?
