Safty Per Dollar 安全的单价

我觉得讨论车的安全与否，一个重要的指标是车的价格。

就像任何性能一样，safty（安全）也是车的属性之一。所以，比较安全性，要同档次的车相比较。拿large SUV和compact car比，根本不make sense。

说美国车德国车安全，那要看什么车了，vw beetle，或者neon，如果和Landcriuser撞上了，谁倒霉？是美德车，还是日本车？

我相信很多人脑子里，美德车的印象，就是一大大宽宽的老车，第一印象就是安全。实际上不是这样。美德车也是千变万化的。

其实这里应该把美车和德车分开，因为，价格-wise，日本车介于其中。

一个更合理的比较是，如果给了一定的budget，买一辆美车安全？还是买一辆日车，德车更安全？其实，从budget出发，更符合大多数人的买车过程。

我的结论是，safty per dollar，美车应该第一，日车第二，德车第三。

因为，美车最便宜，同样的钱能买一个大车，日车其次，德车最贵。

那么车的大小是否一定与安全成正比呢？well，不一定正比，但肯定正相关。正如自然界的动物打架，ultimately，动物的个头决定结果的，特别是one on one的PK。
