车突然坏了, 急于买新车（small SUV ），恳请大家赐教！！

小女子完全不懂车，老公全权委托。恳请大家赐教！！

家有一幼儿，车突然坏了, 急于买新车，近期内就是准备这一辆新车用着，过几年应该有第二辆。希望安全性很高的车，安全的前提下也能尽可能少麻烦少修车。但大半天大半天的在网上选车，看了快半个多月了，越看越不知道自己该买什么车了。。。。。。。好像如果要安全就应该德国车 >美国车>日本车,而如果考虑维修及其费用的话，好像是应该反向。。。

考虑过并且喜好顺序是：small size SUV > mid size car (Honda Accord) > minivan (Honda Oddysey) > mid size SUV, 其中最想要的small size SUV, 和最后考虑的mid size suv 没有定下来具体的车型，请大侠们多多指教啊！

根据最近网上作的研究，对small size SUV 喜好顺序为：
Volkswagen Tiguan > 2010 Chevy Equinox > ford escape > Subaru outback > CR-V

Volkswagen Tiguan怎样? 据说 Tiguan是Golf的transverse引擎，Haldex四驱。据说 属于compact级别的，是不是太小? 车应该是好车,但会很不可靠吗? 修理预算要多少啊?保修延期有用吗?恳请大家赐教！！小女子万分感谢!
