Price wise, used Civic is more expensive than equivalent american ones, actually. Look at those older Buick, Malibu or Taurus, they are dead cheap, in hundreds maybe, and last quite long. Some people religiously believe that Japanese cars are better, saving gas, but they ignore the facts that those cars have deadly safety weakness.
