turn your crankshaft pulley clockwise?
not always turn clockwise, it depend on what car.
the hayness book really tell you what to do.
to check the TDC you have to make sure both, top and bottom are light up.
better have to impact gun to do the work, if you in san jose ca I can let you borrow my tool.
