He was partly right

120kmi maintnance is the same as 60kmi's, basically a tune up job. Brake job is not included but he should have visually inspected it. Apparently he is not a good/responsible mechanic. Don't go back to him again. Also write up in some websites so other customers will not be suffering from him...

Well, as a driver, you should have noticed the noise from that area before it was worn out. "刹车片磨穿，造成刹车鼓报废" ? "Brake pads" and "brake drums" are not related - if brake pads are worn out, the possible result would be that the rotor is worn, you would need to replace pads and rotor, but materials are cheap, the pads and rotor are about $40 in total at one side. For brake drums, not expensive either, about $50 apiece. What will cost you most is the labor... Anyway, don't wait until things are getting worse; learn some basic knowledge on cars, be well in the future...
