BMW is not that experienced in diesel and even turbo technology.

Also, if you buy 335d for fuel economy, it can't be justified due to its higher price (than 335i for example). If you buy 335d for performance (high torque) reasons, that's another story.

BMW still doesn't have a solution on its HPFP (High Pressure Fuel Pump) issues on 135,335 and 535.
