我是不是肯定拿不到 diminished value 赔赏了?

I got an accident last week, it is my wife’s fault, she drove her car back and hit my car. ( 2009 new Toyota Camry) she didn’t realize I am behind her. We already claimed. My insurance take care the whole fee for replace and repair about ( $1500.00), now I have only one question about “ diminished value”.
I check google , there is a free online quote for check you have d-value or not,I enter my living State and pick up “it is my fault” because we are under one policy, I think my wife’s fault is just our fault, so I pickup up “ my fault”.than I got result is “ no diminished value can be issue to you” . I just want to make sure if I can trust this web?
I already talked this question to my insurance,the Rep said : your policy doesn’t cover the d-value, it is a option, next time you can buy the coverage which cover. Her answer is different with the answer I got from
web, but anyway, I want to make sure I have no hope to get d-value. I want to make things easy and get rid of it.
