If I were you, I will continue this case, not for money, but for honor. I also disagree with your friend's suggestion that you should have seen her. If you did that, it implies you drove from behind and you will take more responsibility. The only thing I thought it might have gone wrong if that when the police officer talked to the lady, you should not have talked to the phone but stared at her. In this case, she will feel a pressure for being a liar (her hu*****and taught her right over the phone). Just curious, which State/Province was that?
