发动机过热怎么办？

今天我们这里摄氏30度， 车子停在太阳下几个钟头，开了不到10MILE， 突然发现发动机温度表指针偏右，最热时达到弧线75% 的样子。 车子也嗡嗡地响了一路。请问，这是不是很严重？是不是应该停车熄火等等。 应该采取什么措施？ 多谢。
