If you really want save gas, you should time the duration of every traffic light on the way to work and then calculate the optimal driving speed for each section.
Please don’t forget to drive as far to the right side of the street as possable (make sure other cars behind you can pass) and put a sign on your rear window (I am driving slow to save gas, pass me please).
