老公开车闯红灯被街头摄像头拍照

我在西雅图，老公开车闯红灯被街头摄像头拍照，要罚124刀。可偏偏老公昨天刚登上回国的飞机。各位兄弟姐妹们遇到过类似情况是怎么处理的。解释有用吗？还是乖乖的交罚金了事？会影响到明年的保险费吗？
