She only revealled partial information, how can people help?

What year, make, model, mileage and what does the warning sign say? All these can lead to a resonable diagnosis. She hides so much important information, what can we say?

Here are some points for her to reference:
(1) Rebuilding a tranny does not need 3000-5000, unless her car is a luxury one
(2) Taking out and remounting transmission does not require removing engine from engine bay.
(3) A particular gear failure is not necessary relating to warning sign on panel cluster
(4) It is not uncommon thug shops cheat/bully young/ new immigrants
