回复：自行车该选哪种？Mountain, comfort or Road Bike?

I think you're referring the the hybrid bike category; for my situation, I think an affordable light road bike is good: I ride bike to work on good summer days for 14 miles one way daily, good enough for physical exercise. I choose a ~$400 road bike. It's not that bad on a 4~5 hrs ride over weekends. Multi-speed is almost a must. A road bike is faster but easy to get a flat; hybrid type is more comfy but heavier. Hope this can give you some help.

BTW, never ride on highway or interstate or expressway, way too dangerous.
