Agreed. C&D always pick BMW so you don't need to actually read through and know the answer. I am not a fan of M3. I saw a loaded '09 M3 with 86K MSRP selling for ~66K, only 800 mi on it. Didn't buy. I feel the 3-series is well engineered for half the price.

I have not driven a GTR yet. But I have driven a G37 and Z350 and not too impressed. The 350 has almost no rear vision, makes me feel unsecure - plus handling is unimpressive in my taste. G37 has tacky video game like console that looks cheap and unclassy. Sports suspension is harsh and I can feel vibration even driving on smoothy road.

If you are looking for raw power per dollar, this car is hard to beat. Resale price probably will be good due to samll volume (just like NSX). So I agree value is good if you don't mind spending oodles on gas.
