Diesel engines are good when running at a constant speed, such as in highway driving. But its sluggish in speed change makes it a disadvantage in city driving, particularly when there are many stop signs. In Continental Europe, people like diesel cars when a daily highway driving is needed. I learnt driving with brand new diesel cars. I felt my hairs were thicker after two hours of driving.
