Is this your personal opion, or there is science behind it?

I use Mobile One. But if there is a sale somewhere else, such as for 1 oil change you get a free tire rotation deal, then I switch to ordanory oil. The next oil change, I switch back to Mobile One. I have not had any problems, so far. And Mobile agarage didn't say anything about it. There is even Mobile One for high milage cars.. So, is this your own understanding, or industry practice?
