How about 1999 Audi A4

Had a car accident (http://web.wenxuecity.com/BBSView.php?SubID=auto&MsgID=269022) and a friend of friend wants to sell her 1999 Audi A4. One owner, 66k miles, manual, did all maintainance in Audi dealer, ask for $5700. I test-drived it. It's a good car. My only concern is, on Edmunds.com, many complains about the reliability of 1999 Audi A4. Is it a good deal (or at least acceptable)? I just want a car for transportation, and can protect me if accident happens (God forbid).

Any suggestion from these who have esperience with Audi A4? Thanks.
