LZ probably can go to a different shop and get a second oppinon about the noise--and see if that was caused by last service. Even if the second repair shop says " yeah, that was caused by the last repair guy's bad job", unless the shop is willling to go to a small claim court for him, LZ can't do much with that oppinon. IF it is the struct failing, then it is not damaged by last repair. If it is something else, like a nut turned loose by the last guy, etc, then it could be fixed relatively cheaper...we all understand LZ's pain and hope him the best, but the BigOtire place has made up their mind. It is hard to talk them into admitting their fault after the first try... Just my 2 cents.
