I don't think they will do free repair

It has been 9 years! They might not have spare parts at dealership.

You could bargin with dealer for some discount. However, who will go to dealer for repair? They are expensive and less-satisfactory compare with with regular repair shop. You should call around to ask for quote before you go to any repair shop. Select one based on price and reputation.
