rented an accord (4cye 07 model) for almost a month. testdrove a camry (6cyc 08 model)
been driving an altima (4cyc 08 model) for 6 month (2 year lease), my preference
1. 07 accord, unfortunately 08 model are enlarged.
2. 08 altima
3. 08 accord (i could have put this on the top if it is not enlarged)
4. 08 camry
if you worry 10+ years, you can also consider leasing as an option. a few comments about the altima:
1. brakes, once you got used to it, you will love it.
2. CVT, for the gears, i believe this is more like 4-speed automatic, unlike the accord, which i believe, is 5-speed automatic for the model i drove. then when excelerating from 65-80 within 3-4 seconds, altima would get 5000+ rpm, while only 3. the wheel is light, a little too light, actually, and the turning radius (is that the right word) is stupidly large. if it's not because of these, 08 altima would be my first choice.
camry, no power (even for 6cyc), noisy at high rpm, (quiet to loud at 5000 rpm, accord, altima, camry)
