Think this way:

1. Depend on your area and I agree with you. Who knows that in the other region, young people is buying the car?

2. Old people may just drive kids' car for awhile.

3. People buying the car for other people to drive.

4. Statistic itself is not a sure thing. Sample to represent the population. NOBODY know if the sample model is correct.

Just read it and forget it. Buy whatever you like.
