Brake pad or shoe wear also causes fluid level becomes lower. I suggest to add fluid for now, and keep watching fluid level. If fluid is lower sooner than expected, that means brake leaks, most likely in caliper. the problem should be fixed ASAP. One caliper for imported car may cost around $150, it is cheaper for American cars. If rotors and pads are to be changed, parts cost about $60 - 70, plus labor.
