thanks a lot for your reply.

I got hit from the rear. It should be 100% the truck driver's fault and he has insurance. Police came and recorded all the details, though I haven't see the report since it takes more than a week to process it.

About personal injury, neck was sore the first day and it became more painful yesterday. Nothing is broken.

I am thinking that as long as I can take what I should take and, as you pointed out, not get ripped off from lawyers, it will be OK. I am just afraid that there is a lengthy procedure to go with the truck's insurance company. However, on the other hand, to hire a lawyer needs to sign a lot of paperwork, too.

Is 33% of the settlement for attorney fee fair?
