Hi, Guys: for the manual shift car, how can I park the car with the engine still on and get out of car to do something else. I know , for the automatic car, I just push the shift to P level and get off the car.
If the answer is : put the shift in the Neutral , and lift handbrake. is it safe for the car standing on the slope? I always drive the automatic car, I found the handbrake always not working very well.

pullup handbrake is the only thing you can do in the car
