You are right in the bigger picture. However,

It's a little harder to understand that a car lost in EVERY single measurable category eventually win the comparison, especially knowing the history between these 2. The price difference between 3 and G is not new. It has been there since 2002, and in those years, 3 generally won the head to head with SLOWER acceleration and better refinement. But now 3 made up on its weak points, yet LOST. Did the magazine's criteria really changed? Or did Infinity improve d the G that much? It's an honest question. I only drove the older G35 6 speed manual. Maybe it's time to test drive the new G to get a taste of it.
