What code?You might be able to DIY

I have a 2002 Avalon and a 2001 Lexus RX300, they share the same chesis and engine.

Check engine was up on both cars...and has been fixed all by myself.

P0171 is the code on Avalon, gone after replaced a MAF(mass air flow sensor).5 minutes work plus two trip to autozone, who read the code for me for free.Actually P0171 refers to O2 sensor, but according to Camry owner forum, the first thing you need do actually is clean the MAF since the code ACTUALLY is fired by MAF more than 90%.

P0330 and P0171 are code from the Lexus. It is more complicate and cost me some money since the park (knock sensor) was under the mainifold which requires pro to get it fixed. Sensor plus labour cost me $400, compare with the dealer quote at $1100.

Both cars work great now.
