Now, since all current production transmissions are not of the locomotive type and hvae to have a finite lowest ratio, when we look at two engines with only peak-hp figures as being given, it is possible for the engine with lower peak-hp figure to out-perform the other one in acceleration tests from the rest, even with the best transmissions to match. This is my claim under my assumptions. I suppose you agree with my statement then?
