Can I fix my car?

I got bumped by someone today. Honestly it was not serious at all. it was just a tiny scratch.
But someone bumped me before when I parked on street and left no message.
I am wondering if I can fix the whole body this time. DO not think I am going to take adavantage of this guy! I just have one car, and the reason I would like to have it fixed is that I have to rent a car if I need to have any body work done. And I hope his insurance can cover this rent a car. That is all. And we are going to separate the charge. What this guy did and what we are going to pay.
