美国车真的到了4，5万mile就开始容易出问题了吗？

2003年底买的Chevy Impala, full size sedan. 现在已经开了近45000mile.

去年更换了前刹车部件，今年又更换了后刹车部件。不过根据dealer称，刹车pad的设计寿命本来就是25000～35000mile。除此以外，没有进行过其它任何修理。

老是听说美国车到了4，5万mile就开始容易出问题，因此有些打算在这辆车需要大修之前卖掉或Trade-in，再买下一辆车。我买车的dealer最近又有促销活动，宣称可以给我比较好的trader-in price，当然前提是我买新车。不过目前我的Impala感觉开起来很Smooth，所以有些在犹豫。

难道美国车真的到了4，5万mile就开始容易出问题了吗？希望各位有开美国车的分享一下经验。
