check engine light is designed to indicates any potential problem of your emission system. Remember! emission system consists of many components.

The air intake pressure is one of the parameters which are being monitored by ECU. If the pressure is not in the setting range, the engine light could be turned on.

You may not have the problems to drive the car. However, you are sure to have the problem to pass the inspection.
